Grace Halliwell is an 18 year old girl, who is far from what the popular stereotypes would consider normal. Much to her expectations, she is considered the strange, gothic girl at her new school but as If this wasn’t bad enough she is also cursed with extreme bad luck. Her parents were murdered when she was young and ever since her life has been a constant battle and school a total bore. She studies the black arts in her spare time which she loves and often practises when she gets a chance, although this does not help her ‘reputation’. She gets pushed around at school for being different but she would rather be herself then pretend to be something she’s not.
One night she ends up in her parent’s cemetery, angrily vowing to get revenge on their killers if only she knew who they are. She prepares a spell which she was hoping would pinpoint on a map where their killers were so she could commit her revenge. She kneels down with the necessary equipment including animal blood which has to be smeared in lines across her face. She says the spell but gets unexpected consequences. The map does not change but the sky comes over dark and a black spiral comes down from the sky and enters Grace through her eyes, nose and mouth. Her eyes flash red and then she faints against her parent’s gravestone.
She wakes up in hospital the next night with a sudden impatience to be somewhere else. She grabs her clothes and walks straight out the hospital, ignoring the flickering lights down the corridors that seem to be caused due to her presence. She runs to the dingy flat she considers home, changes her clothes and implies white face covering which a heavy application of eyeliner. She found that suddenly she had the knowledge of who her parent’s killers were and their location, so with pupils as black as the night sky she sets off picking up a knife on her way with nothing but revenge haunting her mind. Of course her first victims were her parent’s murderers and then she moves onto anyone that has ever caused her physical or emotional pain like the bullies at school, all of which lead to hideous deaths with no evidence left behind.

This carries on for a month before her body starts to crumble under the pressure of the inhumanly knowledge that she possesses and she is forced to return to the cemetery. She starts to become herself again and less under the influence of the spirit. There are thunderstorms about as she screams and shouts to the skies to take back the revengeful spirit in which they gave her. Once the rain starts she collapses and the black spiral appears again but in reverse order, being retracted from her face back into the sky. She is left with complete knowledge of all of the murders she has committed in the last month and is unable to fit back into normal life. She ends up in a mental asylum forced to live in one room for the rest of eternity with the knowledge of everything she has done which slowly and painfully drives her insane.
Nice idea! Interestingly this would be a final girl, but she does not seem to be tormented by a monster - she IS the monster.
